Familiarizing yourself with Latinate word construction proves to be extremely important because approximately fifty-five percent of the words in the English code are Latinate in origin.  During this training module, you will be presented with 12 Latinate prefixes. (The seven assimilated Latinate prefixes will be addressed in detail within their own, separate index.)  Each prefix is presented on its own slide. Immediately after the prefix, you will find a slide that contains a keyword that utilizes the prefix, the definition of the prefix, and five additional examples of the prefix in use.
