This module supports “closed” syllables, one of the six syllable types studied within this curriculum. Knowledge of syllable types is a key, foundational skill of word attack. It is a prerequisite for learning the syllable division that allows students to decode words composed of multiple syllables.  An interactive, simultaneous oral spelling drill is included.
