Familiarizing yourself with Latinate word construction proves to be extremely important because approximately fifty-five percent of the words in the English code are Latinate in origin. 

During this training module, you will be presented with the seven assimilated Latinate prefixes.  Each prefix is presented on its own slide. Immediately after the assimilated prefix, you will find a slide that contains the changes that the assimilated prefix makes and the conditions under which it changes. Lastly, a slide is presented that contains a keyword that utilizes the assimilated prefix, the definition of the assimilated prefix, and five additional examples of the assimilated prefix in use.
